Tell us about yourself
A short, free online assessment covering your health, history and what you’re experiencing.
A doctor reviews it
An HPCSA-registered doctor reviews your information personally — never an algorithm.
Bloods, if needed
Hormonal and advanced screening pathways may include blood tests before anything is decided.
Your personalised plan
You receive next steps suited to you. Where treatment is clinically appropriate, it is delivered discreetly.
Ongoing support
Regular follow-ups to track how you’re doing and adjust your plan as your body changes.
Your hormones change. Understanding them changes everything.
Perimenopause and menopause don't arrive with an announcement. Sleep gets lighter, energy dips, mood and focus shift, body composition changes. Many women are told this is simply age.
FemLab starts with assessment — your history, your symptoms and, where indicated, your bloodwork — so decisions are based on your physiology rather than a guess.
More than “eat less, move more.”
Weight is regulated by biology, not willpower alone. A doctor-guided programme looks at the whole picture before deciding what is appropriate for you.
Not every factor applies to every woman. That is what the medical assessment is for.
Health isn't only about treating what's wrong. It's about investing in what comes next.
Six focus areas, one doctor-guided routine. Choose what you want to work on and your plan is built around it.
Rediscover intimacy.
A doctor-guided programme for desire, arousal and comfort. The reason most women don't get help here is the conversation, so we removed it: your consultation happens in writing, and no blood tests are needed.
Real medicine, handled properly.
FemLab is a South African telehealth practice for women. Every plan is reviewed by a registered doctor, and we will tell you honestly when treatment isn't the right answer.

The questions women ask most.
How does FemLab work?+
You complete a short online assessment about your health, history and symptoms. An HPCSA-registered doctor reviews it and decides what is clinically appropriate. Where treatment is suitable, it is delivered to your door with ongoing support and follow-ups.
Is FemLab available across South Africa?+
Yes. FemLab is 100% online and available nationwide, with delivery to your address wherever you are in South Africa.
Do I need a prescription?+
You don't need one to begin. Some options are prescription-only and can be prescribed by the reviewing doctor where clinically appropriate. Not every person will qualify for treatment.
Will I need blood tests?+
Sometimes. Hormonal and advanced health pathways may require blood tests before a decision is made. The doctor will tell you if this applies to you.
How does the medical assessment work?+
You answer a detailed medical questionnaire online, then consult with the support team by email or teleconsultation. Nothing is approved before that review.
How will I know which option is right for me?+
You don't need to decide upfront. Choose the area closest to what you're experiencing, and the doctor will recommend what is appropriate after reviewing your assessment.
How does delivery work?+
Orders are couriered to your preferred address.
Can I speak to a healthcare professional?+
Yes. Consultation with the doctor happens by email or teleconsultation, and you can reach the team for follow-up questions while you're on a plan.
