More common than you think

If it has changed, there is usually a reason.

Sexual difficulties in women are common and often have identifiable contributing factors — hormonal change, medication, pain, sleep, stress, relationship context or a combination.1 Very few women raise it with a doctor.2

Desire

Interest that has dropped, or gone, and bothers you.

Comfort

Dryness, irritation or pain that makes sex something to avoid.

Arousal & orgasm

Physical response or climax that has become harder to reach.

Confidence

Feeling disconnected from your body or avoiding intimacy.

What treatment can look like

Three possible routes, decided by your doctor.

Which route suits you depends on what you’re experiencing and your medical history. Some options are prescription-only and are discussed by name only once you have been assessed and are logged in.

Local hormonal support

A locally applied, prescription-only option for women whose main concern is comfort and tissue health. Applied at home, nothing systemic.

Blood-flow support

A low-dose, prescription-only option where physical arousal and responsiveness are the concern. Suitability depends on your history and other medication.

Everyday intimate care

A non-prescription option to support intimate comfort and skin health day to day. Can be used alongside a prescribed route where appropriate.

How it works

Three steps. No bloods, no examination.

Free 3-minute check

A written questionnaire about what you’re experiencing, your history and your medication. Nobody phones you.

A doctor reviews it

An HPCSA-registered doctor decides which route is appropriate, or declines if none is. This pathway needs no blood tests.

Delivered & supported

Dispensed by a licensed pharmacy in plain packaging, with follow-up check-ins in writing.

Treatment depends on your health and history. It is prescribed only where clinically appropriate, and a doctor may decline if it isn’t right or safe for you. Not every woman qualifies. If your symptoms suggest something that needs examining in person, we will tell you to see someone face to face.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Do I need blood tests for this?+

No. This pathway is assessed from your written questionnaire and medical history. If the doctor thinks bloods would change the picture — for example if your symptoms point to a wider hormonal change — they’ll tell you and may suggest the hormone pathway instead.

Will I have to talk to someone about this?+

Not unless you want to. The consultation happens in writing. If you’d rather speak to the doctor you can ask for that, but it’s never required for this pathway.

Is there an examination?+

No physical examination forms part of this pathway. If your answers suggest something that should be examined in person — unexplained bleeding, a lump, or pain with other symptoms — we’ll tell you to see a clinician face to face rather than treat it online.

Can I use this if I’m on other medication?+

List everything you take in the assessment. Some options interact with common medicines, including certain heart and blood-pressure medications, and the doctor will rule those out.

How will it arrive?+

Couriered in plain, unbranded packaging with nothing on the outside indicating what’s inside or who sent it.

What if I’m not approved?+

If the doctor decides no option here is right for you, the review fee is refunded and they’ll explain what would be a better next step.

You don’t have to bring it up. Just start the check.

Free, private, three minutes. A registered doctor reviews your answers before anything is decided.
